<Health> Allergy Rhinitis Soup

Effect: dispel wind and cold, clear the nasal passages, suitable for people with itchy throats or those suffering from nasal allergies or tracheal allergies

Ingredients: magnolia flower, cordyceps flower, loquat leaf, almond, candied dates

Recommended pairing: Can be served with meat/no meat is needed. Magnolia flowers are best added after the soup is cooked and baked for 5 minutes for better results.

Cooking method:

Soak the dry ingredients in clean water for 15 minutes (except Cordyceps flowers), then remove from water and drain. Blanch the meat (if any) and set aside.

Open flame:

Pour water into the soup pot (2L water if there is meat, 1.5L water if there is no meat). After the water boils, add the ingredients and boil over high heat. Then turn to medium-low heat (cook for 2 hours if there is meat, 1.5 hours if there is no meat). Then turn to medium-high heat and boil for 10-15 minutes.

Pressure Cooker:

Add 1L of water to the soup pot, add the ingredients and press the soup mode. If you use a pressure cooker, release the pressure and then press the stir-fry mode for 15 minutes before drinking to make the herbal tea more flavorful. Or you can cook according to your personal habits and preferences.

Finally, add appropriate amount of salt for seasoning according to personal preference.

Serves 4-5 people.

*The cooking time of magnolia flowers should not be too long. It is best to add them after they are cooked. Cooking them for too long will lose their medicinal effects.
